The bill (Reg. No. 3358) harmonizes Ukrainian legislation with the Constitution of Ukraine, enhancing legislative protection of fundamental human rights and liberties, providing for the principle of their non-alienation and inviolability, and equality of all the persons before the law during the realization of rights and liberties.
The Committee members believe that introduction of amendments will differentiate criminal responsibility and strengthen liability for the actions committed by an organized group or for those that inflicted serious damage (imprisonment for 7-10 years).
